I received a notice from my cc that I was auto renewed to Dr. Hill's substack on Dec. 29th, 2025, and that was not my intent when I signed up a yr ago, so I canceled my subscription on Dec. 29th 2025 so it wouldn't auto renew again on Dec. 2026. But I don't see a way to request a refund of $80 for the auto renew that was done today, so I'm doing that here now. Please acknowledge you received this.
Google indicates canceling a Substack subscription should automatically provide a refund in 7 days. I don’t know if this is the case when subscribers cancel themselves.
Authors can authorize refunds via a dropdown menu only when canceling subscriptions. Because you already canceled, I cannot recancel you, so I have no such refund menu available.
If you need further assistance, please contact Substack.
