Have suspected shadow banning since I started writing here. Social media is corrupt, Big Tech is corrupt. The allegiance of government, corporations, institutions - the corporatocracy - is corrupt. Guilt by association?

One of the lead investors, Andreessen Horowitz. Silicon valley company. Not looking good. Maybe I should get my blog back up again, just in case. The investor all Bay Area companies and Andreessen Horowitz put in the most. Tens of millions.

I'm not sure what to do with this information, but hope others do.

I think we must assume that since SubStack is a Silicon Valley Corporate entity that we can expect actions consistent with this. While their stated aims are to promote good writing and free speech it behoves us to remain somewhat skeptical of this given the current environment especially. They either will or will not fulfill these aims. We can have good will as content creators and simultaneously keep a skeptical eyebrow raised. Their success depends on our success and vice versa.
